Last updated 8 September 2026. This covers this website. Clinics using the VetCentra application are covered by the data processing terms in their agreement with us.
Who we are
VetCentra is a software company based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. For any question about this policy, contact info@vetcentra.com.
What this website collects
This site has no contact form, no account system and no advertising trackers. If you visit and read, we collect aggregate analytics only: pages viewed, approximate country and city, referring site, device type and browser. This is used to understand which pages are useful. It is not linked to you as an individual and is not sold or shared for advertising.
Our web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request. If you would rather avoid this, most browsers allow you to block third-party requests.
When you contact us
If you message us on WhatsApp or send an email, we keep that conversation and whatever you tell us in it — your name, your clinic, your number — so that we can answer you and follow up. WhatsApp messages are also held by WhatsApp under its own terms. We use this information to respond to you and, if you become a customer, to set up and support your clinic. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list without you asking.
Clinic and patient data inside the application
Data entered into the VetCentra application by a clinic — owners, animals, records, invoices — belongs to that clinic. We process it on the clinic’s instructions in order to run the service. Each clinic’s data is isolated from every other clinic’s at the database level. We do not use one clinic’s data to inform another’s, and we do not sell it.
How long we keep things
Enquiry conversations are kept while there is a reasonable prospect of doing business and for a period afterwards for our own records. Analytics are retained in aggregate. Customer data is retained for as long as the clinic’s account is active, and is exported and deleted on request when an account closes.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email info@vetcentra.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are a pet owner rather than a clinic, your records are held by your veterinary practice and requests should go to them first — we will help them act on it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
